More Color Resources!

I just found a great site via a design friend on Facebook (see, it's good for something!) called Design Seeds that I thought would be useful for you as you think about color in future projects. You can see how many awesome color schemes occur in nature. Is this something that you've ever noticed before?

A good exercise would be to go out and take some photos yourself and then pick out the color schemes that you see occurring. You could develop a good library of color ideas this way. If you do decide to try this, please share the results on your blog!

Another place to find interesting color schemes is in paintings throughout art history. This site gathers 35 color schemes analyzed from paintings, like this one:
